There are some shops like RCS, FRC, etc...Not all of them have it but your best chances is at RCS. I bought my last one at a hobbyshop near China Town. Drop me mail when you get here.

I think that 'special schottky' diode is a Novak one.

I know that at the US outdoor nats Hara ran a Novak shottky diode

The Shottky diode you see on Hara and Karn car are from Muchmore
