Post What is the Best Radio?

Hi,

I need a good radio, i was looking at both Airtronics M11 and Futaba 3PK.

But I want to hear from you all. What is the best differents between the two? Is there a better one i should be looking at?

I will be going to a DSM, but not right now.

Thanks for your time,

Depends on the radio like. I have been racing with Futaba, Kopropo and Sanwa. I am now using my 3rd Sanwa radio (M8) and I am very statified with it. This will not say you have to buy a Sanwa radio! Just go to your LHS and ask the guy behing the counter what he sells and if you can hold them in your hand, whether it is Sanwa, Futaba, Kopropo or other brand. The one that lays comfortable in your hand and has the features you want that's the one you should buy. Hope this will help you instead of those stupid answers of the guys who saying that they have the best radio

Sure.....I had a Kopropo radio and sold it after using it 6 months because I found it a piece of crap and bought a Sanwa again because I find them working fine. So be happy and stick your Helios. Oh yeah Futaba and Sanwa are also Japanese and who's says your Helios isn't manufacured outside Japan. Most manufacturers have only offices in the country of origin. Seen that in mountainbiking: Trek is NOT build like they sya in the USA but in...................TADA: Taiwan at the Giant factory so is Specialized, Merida and a lot more brands. I own a real USA bike: Mountain cycle San Andreas. Proof? Click on my attached picture.
A little bit off topic but you what I mean.

All Ko Propo products are "made in Japan" even their low end products ...
And Relax man that was just a little provocation.

Not sure about the M11 but we have used the 3PK for a couple years now, mostly for 1/5th scale. At the time besides the Multiplex it truly is the only one with (2) programmable 3rd ch mixing. We use it for the front brakes, and it's amazing what you can do dialing out front brakes as you turn into the corner.

Not sure if electric really uses all it's horsepower. Also have been using with the Spectrum module for a while with great success since they went back to Horizon for service.

i agree with what he says. the best fit for me is the helios. lets say you buy a helios because everyone says to buy it but you dont like how it feels and you dont perform as good as you should. i cant use the m8/m11/3pk because it is too weird in my hands.

hope this helps you pick helios
