Turn the timing down to 44*, Gear to 4.0, take the temp after 2 minutes. If under 120, add 2 teeth. Keep adding more and more pinion until the motor comes off @ 140 after 2 minutes and then back down a tooth. Take a full run and check for fade and high temps. Don't trust the current method, that one comes up once in a while but is not a test of the true load on the motor. All that does is generate unnecessary heat. Once you find a speed you like, then play with the timing up and down 4*. You will eventually find the sweet spot.

I put my fantom 25.5 on my gforce motor analyser it was on 50` exactly 47•/50/52 ` it pulled 4.6 amps. I think I'm going to gear it 3.4

6 amps for 25.5 is too high....shoot for 3 amps....or around 47 deg timing

Instead of 4.448, I would think you'd be looking somewhere around 3.8 or so. How much your set-up is binding up on the black carpet there factors in as well.

thinks guys. i'll give a try to see if i'm fast. but this is what the use at 386 in daytona, now i have my fantom @ 3.9 amp and timing @ 45". i can't test it yet i go to the once a month i stay in miami
