Have Tamiya lost their way?
Recent years i find that the Tamiya bodies are less and less realistic where as the old ones where the best you could buy for scale looks.
Anyone else feeling this way about their releases?

All Tamiya bodies I have bought have been top notch.. Mini and the GT style lids.

Indeed He might be talking about the Raikiri Body as far as scale goes... It's not suppose to be a branded car but it sure does work amazing. The body lines seem like the old nsx a bit

The new Quattro and the Countach in 1/10 scale springs to my mind.

I think tamiya lost their way with the comical buggy’s but not their bodies.

Bodies from Tamiya are very good detailed for a reasonable price. Many of them are licensed from big car manufacturers.
The most detailed bodies I personally know and own, are all drift bodies from Yokomo. Top notch but they are pricey and not recommended for racing.
