Default Tire Warmer help wanted.

Yes I have already done the search but didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I got me some Trinity non-regulated tire warmers, the long strip with velcro kind.(please don't tell me to go get a digital one) Rubber tires on carpet, occasional asphalt. How many volts and for how long? How hot/warm does it need to be for what tires/surface/temp? Does someone have a complete method running through the steps with timeline? I mean I saw terms like "baking in the traction compound", or people putting on compound, wrapping it with tissue?, then warmers. I also read somewhere about heating foams? Whats that all about?
