Default pro peak power supply 20 amp

Is there anything I should know about this item? I cant seem to find much about it other than its a switchmode power supply....I like the price, but if its junk, can you suggest a decent powersupply? I've had an ac/dc ionic and want to upgrade to either the advantage lipo or pulsar 2.

well, I'm guessing the ripmax is junk then? I had read one of your post previously, but wasn't sure about the pvs200... well, heck its 5 bucks cheaper than the ripmax...why not huh...

Hey, do I need anything special to hook up to the charger? Like banana plugs or clamps or something? the picture of the pvs200 doesnt show much.

I've got the Pro-Peak one, bought new about a year ago. Nothings gone wrong with it, it handles 2 chargers and a soldering iron with ease and its a great price. I'd recommend one in an instant.

The power supply has banana plug jacks, so to connect you would either need banana plugs or alligator clips.

well, I guess its a toss up then...they cost about the same, have the same output numbers, but the pyramid has a decent looking box eventhough it looks bigger than the ripmax. Thanks for all the input guys.

I don't know the size of the Ripmax, but the PSV200 is only 2 inches tall. And yes, the casing is very nice.
