Default tamiya suggestions

OK so I wa wanna get another touring tamiya but dnt wanna get something just for it to be discontinued soon does anyone think the ta06 will be around for awhile still. I would go but I can get a deal on a 06, also is the 06 any good and what makes it differ from 05 and 07s.

TA07 is much better than the 06 and it is also more recent so you have less chance of it being discontinued soon.

I never drove the 05 or 06, but everything I've heard about the 06 has been that it's pretty clearly the worse of the three cars (between the 05, 06, and 07). The 07 is still pretty new (released a year ago) and tamiya seems to have parts support for their chassis for quite a while.

Unless the deal on the 06 is a steal, I would suggest getting an 05 or 07.

I d t really have a budget but for the kit itself I wld rather not spend more then 200. Now as far as the 07 I do like the pro version, is that the only accessible kit of the 07 around right now bc that's the only one in stock everywhere.

reason I mention discontinued is bc I just got into this hobby big about a year ago and I have a tb03 and love it but I'm starting to have trouble finding my last few upgrades. So now I wanna also wrk on a belt pref and dnt wanna land this issue with this one, if the darn tb03 wasn't discontinued I'd build another one of them lol its a solid ride.

TA07 will be an active model for at least 2 more years maybe 3.

You can use most of TB04 parts to keep TB03 alive. Only parts that cannot be used are chassis, motor mount and center driveshaft - but these parts are very hard to damage beyond usability, I doubt you'll ever need them

Is the pro the only one you guys see around in stock? I can't find a standard with body.

They only have a Pro version, there is no standard kit with body.

If you have $200 to spend on the kit go to Tower Hobbies, use the coupon, and get the TA07 Pro for right around $200 shipped to your door. It's always best to go with the current model IMO.
