Check with your local track. I believe mine is still "peak 4200 or nothing"

There is also a 3300Mah version of that battery ...I have both and have tried both, its really hard to tell if one is better than the other. But for the Main's I usually go w/ my 3300 as it is a tad bit lighter in weight.

Does anyone have the Euro Trucks in stock? (Anyone have an idea when stock will be available?) -- I'm wanting to add them to an upcoming race on a Velodrome, and have guys wanting to join the fun, but they've said everyone is "BACK ORDERED" on them. I'd like to be able to point them in a direction.

Here are some. Friendly Hobbies has the wrong picture. P1 hobbies doesn't indicate if it's in stock. I would call Sheldon Hobbies to double check. Shadow Hobbies is more expensive.

Search for the IIC Euro Truck and Snowbirds Semi Truck A-main videos. Both listed on the respective Facebook pages.

Look for how many people are around the track watching these races. Great fun to race in too!

I have been running both the Peak batteries, I think they are called "wolfpacks" ...3300 and 4200mah capacity.
At my last race I noticed at least 2 drivers using an Orion round pack which has a higher C rating and is rated to 7.6v (not the usual 7.4v). ...granted they may say they are not charging to 7.6v, ...but they can still charge to 7.45 or whatever the legal limit is for a bit extra punch. -I am guessing. In either case, seems a few trucks are fassst. Wondering if this is the reason why ..or at least part of the reason? I've re-read the rules and it doesn't state that the Orion battery is illegal, just that a "rounded pack" and it is "suggested" to use something like "the peak/wolfpacks". ...thoughts?

The rounded Peak batteries are 4200's and the Wolfpack batteries are made by Associated are 4000's and have the bumps on the bottoms to fit the slots of the battery tray. In our area the Peak battery is the required battery for certain tracks and they are reasonably priced. The Peak batteries are one of the approved batteries for the TCS. In local parking lot racing there is no battery rule as far as I know right now.
