Yes, do stay away from them. They are like a 3rd part seller and keep no stock or even update rather it's in stock from there " warehouse". They will hold up your money for who knows how long ( happen to me several times) and there is a whole forum page devoted to their practices.
thanks for the tip!

I apologize for even pointing it out. It was meant to be more of a question than statement. I ask because It seems like there are various addendum to the rules at various tracks and not just in EuroTrucks. For instance, Tire glue is a big area. Tracks discretion about tires for TC classes. I thought perhaps Tamiya USA was allowing weights at their particular race.

When I said that I didn’t read the rules until today, I should clarify that I did previously look, but embarrassingly never made it past page 2 where it says past winners must donate their prize to the raffle or give it to a kid. Was checking for a friend (seriously)

The first place prize (6x6 monster truck) was given away.

No worries. It's fun to see what you did for mod's. BUT--if you didn't WIN--why should we do them? Just kidding!! Good you had fun--I ordered one of these to race at Cal Raceway--come on out and we'll race the class!! Several guys have them!!

I haven't seen one of these kits yet---why build the shocks dry??

Because base TT01 shocks are just friction "dampers." No reservoir for oil. Just a spring. Some people have been mounting the shock upside down and/or packing it with oil or grease to create some damping on top of the spring.

Did the battery rule change and I missed it or have I just misread it? I thought there were only 2 batteries allowed in the class, but the way the rules read now it seems a lot more open.

I just re-read the rules last night. I'm doing "something illiegal" on my truck right now, and will be correcting that. (Shock position.. that is)

Thanks, basically, to follow the rules precisely---there are NO modifications of ANY kind allowed. Stock motor, esc and a 2s battery. Use ALL the parts in the kit including all screws etc. I didn't read that you could not add weight? Is that somewhere else in the rules? Looks pretty simple and complete. Looking forward to playing with the little trucks!!

8. Minimum Weight: 1450 grams. Adding heavy ballast for low CG is prohibited.

But adding for balance is OK? Just looks like they worded it to allow some weights.

Hey John
I don't see anything that says minimum weight of 1450 or anything about adding weight I know it's illegal but the rules u posted and the rules i have don t say anything about weight minimum or maximum. Is that how your truck drives so smooth u have weight in it huummmmm? Lol
