I used 2 of the big plastic screws that are used on 8th scale onroad car wings with nuts on the back. Right over the front wheels. Never had an issue.

All I did for mine was to cut larger pieces of double sided tape and no issues with the cab whatsoever even after some hard hits

You know who you are..... no comments on the "incidents" LOL.....
quit crashing and the issue goes away.... just saying

Well I got mine! Very fun and easy build. Well the chassis is anyway. The body looks to be a royal PITA and I can't believe Tamiya made it in so many pieces. Two would have been fine and completely doable. They made it overly complicated and difficult for no reason.

I can't wait to finish the body and get it running.

Are they racing these anywhere in southeastern PA?

The most recent few pages of this thread don't have nearly enough pictures of people's builds.

There probably aren't many build pics because lots of people are building these stocks and they're the same old TT-01E chassis that people have seen numerous times over. I will post pics of mine when I'm finished painting. Now only if it was warm enough to paint. I have to get a heater for my garage so I can accomplish this.

To paint in the cold try this: heat a cup of water. Put paint can in it for about 1 minute. go in your cold garage and spay quickly. then bring it back inside under a heat lamp or regular light bulb. That's how I did it this week in sunny cold fla.
