Default T2 setup for carpet/takeoff27s?

Hey, Mike what set up do you recommend for low-med grip, newer ozite carpet, and using takeoff27s? Someone recommended the DCcup setup, but I don't know the team driver's name. Any up dates since that setup? Thanks

RCKnight.. The setup your looking for would be Jilles Groskamps from the DHI Cup. Just this weekend I started back racing rubber tires again and that was an awesome place to start. Give it a shot.

Default Thank you for the quick response Flack.

Someone mentioned that the DHI Cup track had much more traction than my local track. Do you have a couple of tips for getting more traction out of the setup?

Do you know if Xray's going to do anything soon so that we can run a Lipos in our T2s?

Doubtful since they arent legal to race with and the Hudy's have said time and again that the T2 is a race car not a basher.

Mike, congrats on your win at Vegas!!!

I heard (and saw from your setup sheet) that you were using the dbl pink all around. Was it related to the low traction? Should it be consider as a good tire combo? I always had problem getting the steering I wanted at my local track.

Thanks!!!

Mike,

What setup (can, arm, wind, brushes, springs, gearing, rear tire size, and timing) are you running in 1/12th.

[email protected] It was something that paul L tried in vegas.. I have not tried it at the local level but it just might work.. We were having a tought time getting steering and we also were having the car get tighter and tighter as the race went on.. So this seemed to help fix some of those problems and allow us to run faster... I think the setup can be tweaked to go faster but did not want to mess with it since it was main time....

Greg... I am currently running a 10 single in the shock can .. with 12 degree's timing 4383 brush red springs tire size about 1.75 gear about 31/100.. hope this helps..

Lonnie... Thanks man...
