Default MOD motor & ESC Fan

Is a fan required on the ESC with a MOD motor? I use a fan for the motor, Reedy 5.5 Thing is, not enough ports on the receiver for everything.

Car is Losi 224, Tekin RSX speedo.

Yes, a fan on the ESC should always be there. Less heat=less wear and better performence over 5 min.

If you're out of receiver ports you can just solder the fan to the positive and negative terminals of the esc (along with the battery wires). This will mean the fan is on whenever the battery is plugged in.
