Default Where's Mr Rheinard going?

I saw on the ETS website that Marc has run his final race driving for Tamiya?!

When did this happen, and who will he be driving for now? Yokomo?

Yokomo would be logical if they have the funds since he already drives for them in 1/10th offroad. Creation Model/Infinity seems to be snapping up top names left and right despite not having a large lineup of vehicles but that's a possibility. I'd personally like to see him go Associated to give their onroad program a shot in the arm they need on a world's level but that's probably a long shot.

Do not forget Infinity which has allready many top drivers listed and a prototype TC is in devellopment.

But what is left over at Tamiya? There is no driver left that can show the performance of the TRF chassis.

Special body for his final race with Tamiya.

I'd imagine he's going to Yokomo.

Well he's German, long successful career with one team, World Champion.

Maybe he'll "Do a Rosberg".

Tamiya have some fast Japanese drivers, Naoto Matsukura and Akio Sobue.
Hard to tell if Tamiya will have an race team in the future at all, time will tell.

The TRF program is finishing up.

MR going to Infinity. The mystery left is what chassis - he can drive what ever he likes with Kenjis team.

My bet is on Yokomo... As he is already driving for them in the 1/12 pan-cars and electric off-roads cars classes... Plus he could be a great asset with Ronald...

I'd say close to zero chance of this. Yes it makes sense to extend the contract for a third class - but it will mean less $$$.

- Infinity is most likely as they have cash and he can run whatever chassis he likes.

- VBC is possible with Tonisport links. But $$ not there.

seems there is a recently vacated spot at Mercedes, and they could easily cover the expense

He would have had to quit after his first world title then!

I'd bet infinity, it seems like the best deal around right now. Plenty of financial backing, able to run whatever car you'd like, can't go wrong.

The "able to drive what car you like" will come to an end soon. So that can't be a motivation. Infinity makes sense.

I reckon Infinity - Marc's good buddies with Lee Martin and I reckon opportunities have come up there.
