Actually if you have a super IQ2 it would only be $225. That's if you went with all of the updates and add ons. You're right though, $325 or even $225 is not cheap.
For $325, I would be looking at other charges. Especially with the way battery capacities have been increasing and then there's the whole Lipo battery thing.

Default Victor Hi-IQ

If anyone is interested I have a Hi-IQ with Thermal probe collecting dust in my shop. All functions work except it will not charge batteries. I did not know that anyone was repairing/upgrading them so it has been setting for the last two years. I'm open to reasonable offers.

Outlandr,

So far I am pretty happy with the new GFX. The funny thing was I was using both chargers last night to cycle some old 2400's for a newbie to run on the weekend. I am going to miss the macro function the most I think along with the variable rate motor run in.

What kind of money are people getting for a used Victor Super2 FCC? Is it worth selling or just hang on to it? I have the super tuner for the motor as well.... not sure if I ever used it *L* Found it in a box of other assorted goodies.

I have to agree that those prices are a bit expensive to upgrade an older charger, although you do have to look at the fact that you're able to upgrade and not throw away and buy new. My biggest concern would be how reliable the charger would be being that it's 10+ years old and been upgraded by Victor 2 or 3 times now.

I think I am going to seriously consider selling it and getting it to a home where it will be used.

Thanks

on E-Bay, used victors are anywhere from 100 - 250 more or less depending on what it comes with.

Got mine a few years back for 50 UK pounds ($90 @ todays converson)

upgraded to IQ3000 when I got 3300's, added the blue screen and put power points in top case for 12v @ the same time. Haven't used it on 3700's or the new 4200's yet.
