The ETS idea of controlling everything is getting out of control....What's next ??? Minimum air weight, minimum sun rays, minimum microphone weight for Scotty, etc,....lol....
Yeah, thank God I am also in the USA !!!

Exactly lol I agree and if we make minimum weight what does it matter but the reasoning behind it is no body tucks so competition doesn’t end over it,but properly mounted and cut bodies will not tuck I guess we will see what happens

Properly mounted and cut bodies will tuck if you get hit. The reasoning behind the minimum weight is mainly because Scotty is tired of spray bomb bodies per his post.

Lol I'm with Marcos on this one lol but seriously I don't see the reasoning behind this stupid rule they passed at the ETS series ! Minimum weight is minimum weight right ! Wether it's race weight or body weight ! You still gotta gotta weigh 1350 !

Saying that because you are running 1 color bodies because they are thinner is Weak AF. I still paint all my bodies in the ULT/Leggera/Prolite the same way and it does not make any difference in durability whether they are custom painted or not. More and more this is used as an excuse but I have a feeling this is more due to the fact that there are many options now that are legitimately better than others in different conditions. Throw that in with the fact that now people try the bodies neutral, and with a variable amounts of forward adjustment and it just means that it is not economically viable for people to have a bunch of painted bodies.

I also don't believe the newer, lighter bodies tuck any more either. Cut your arches right and run some sort of anti tuck mechanism and most of this issue is gone. This really is one decision that I hope no one else follows. I am usually not critical about decisions and go with the flow, but this is just not the correct way to address the issue. All you have to do is say: Mandatory paint schemes to race and anti tuck mechanism required. End of story, move along. If people can't paint their ULT bodies, tough.

BTW, I know I am quoting you Lee, but not picking on you. Just continuing a conversation with your points

How about we make it easier to race and not harder by making a lot of unnecessary rules. Just my 2 cents.

Just tried the JP8 on a low grip asphalt outdoor track (80% technical 20% fast)

In summary? I think this body is what I need from now. I don't think I will use the M410 anymore from now, well maybe.

Thank you Bittydesign.
