Default New ROAR

Wow! Just checked out the new bi-monthly ROAR on-line publication and I am totally impressed by the vast improvement. Thoroughly worth reading.

Changes can't be made overnight, and hopefully things can head in the right direction.

I currently took the position of Region 3 director in hopes of trying to get more regional action and meaning to the racers with solid reports and reasons to go to events. Even one small change at a time can eventually seem like a big change.

LOL.. well, funny.. I received the return receipt email that you did.... and I spelled your last name wrong and you pointed it out. (again, sorry about that.... )

But, wow.. will be very nice to not have to go searching the USPS system anymore.

Hi Dawn,

with Canada now being split and grouped with Regions 1 and 11, is there anywhere to see where thedividing line between what is classified as Eastern and Western Canada is located?

Thanks

Yep, the next issue of RevUP ONLINE! and soon on the website will have the new graphics of the regional changes and the deliniation you request. Although, not answering your question right now.... so I will find out exactly and let you know. I recall discussion concerning current clubs in ROAR (in Canada) and a split right down the middle was the most efficient way of doing it. I will find out.

Eddie - you crack me up!! (yep, I said that!)

West border of North Dakota straight up... that's the division line so far.

Any suggestions to change that... input would be great.

You should definitely use provincial boundaries to define the Canadian split...the big question becomes in Manitoba East or West....

Based on how the population is distributed, it would probably make more sense to put Manitoba into the Western Region...and from Ontario East into the Eastern Region... More realistic chance to travel for regional events..

just my $.02

well, not straight up.. no splitting countries.. but we looked at existing ROAR tracks and divided them up appropriately.

Of course, I will get the exacts but take ND and go up.. that's basically the split.
