I have a TA05 and a M03L and both have the same steering problem where on one side they don't centre back properly, it looks to be a problem with the standard Tamiya Servo Saver but not 100% sure, any ideas and how do I fix this?? Has anyone else noticed the same?

Try lubricating the servo saver parts with some light (preferably dry) lubricant.
.....and make sure you did not over tighten the screw securing the saver to the servo.
.....lastly, make sure all steering components has NO binding anywhere !

My M03 had the same problem, I cured it with a zip-tie around the centre plastic ring. The problem was the ring was weak and didn't tighten up enough to return to centre.

Are you useing the same exact servo on both cars? What I mean is do you change the back anfd forth from car to car?

No the TA05 has a Futaba 3305 the M03L has a Futaba 9451

i am not sure but in my opinion this will make your servo saver 'dead' or in other word, you're not using any servo saver. when you zip-tied it, the center ring can't expand and provide the 'spring' action which is supposed to be there so it can act as servo-saver.

i have not tried kimbrough ones but i tried the one from eagle racing, it can't fit because it hits the tub chassis sidewall.

tried the tamiya one, fits better but still have clearance issue, the ball cup hits the servo casing whenever i turn to the right, well it still clears but scrubbing the servo casing. any suggestion on how to fix this?

oh btw i'm using futaba 9550 servo

I know it will fit the TA05 cause I use one on mine.

Thanks going to buy a Kimbrough and a Tamiya one and see which helps the most, also backed the servo screw off a tad and thats helped it a bit as well.

The tamiya ones gave me nothing but fits. The metal rings have play where the ends meet the plastic. People jam stuff in there to take up the slack but I would just avoid it and get the med. kimb.
