Default First run

Hi guys, today i did my first run with the D09; 17,5 blinky on black ETS-carpet with alu chassis and Ride30-tires. Boxstock i could run the same laptimes as my buddies, both with new T4'17's.

The car was very easy to drive, good cornerspeed and very predictable!

Just working on a bit of rolling on the dots.

Build was a blast, perfect fit and no extra tools needed!!

Wow, that's great news! I am looking forward to getting my D09 in the future. Don't know when, but sometime soon.

They're probably just doing maintenance.

This years AOC held at Yatabe Arena has come to a successful end for VBC Racing. VBC Racing drivers Lucas Urbain and EC Kim put in an amazing performance with Lucas Urbain TQ'ing one of the qualifying rounds. The competition was so fierce that each qualification round had a new TQ run from a different driver. After the qualification rounds came to an end Lucas qualified 2nd with Ronald Volker sitting on pole.

Lucas had great confidence with driving his D09 around Yokomo's home track. Lucas made changes to his roll centers, spring rates and upper link positions.

He started off Q1,Q2,Q3 with running SMJ silver/silver springs and found it was easy to drive and rolled a little too much. Q4 made adjustments to the springs and tried SMJ pink/pink and raised the inner links. This reduced the roll, however, the car wasn't as on point as his previous setup. Lucas was looking for something in between and he decided to run SMJ pink front and silver rear and lowered the inner links back to their original position.

Lucas' car was handling beautifully and everyone commented on how nice the car was performing on the track. It was stable, rotated perfectly, and carried a lot corner speed. After watching the D09 perform at this years AOC I am super excited to pick one up in and month or two.
