The motor and esc was chosen for the series, the fact you bought your own esc/motor rather than hiring one from the ETS organisers and then start moaning about it not being quick against other non restricted motors and esc's is the point, not that are quicker motors that could provide a level playing field, nobody is saying that isn't the case. As I understand it the motors are handout anyway so you didn't need to buy one. But It also might have helped if you mentioned the circumstances in your original post.

What have circumstances to do with anything?

Hey, I paid the money, I can moan if I so desire.

Or I can bin the motor like I said.

Either way, what difference does it make to you? You really need a hobby.

I have a hobby, that I started in 1978, I love it, its called rc car racing, perhaps you need a different hobby
