Bob and the Stormer crew have been a cornerstone in the industry for as long as I can remember. Excellent to deal with, as both a consumer and manufacturer...

Stormer is the best place to order from online. They have been around so long and the prices are exactly what you expect and the best part is they notify you if the parts you ordered are not in stock and will not charge you if you ordered them unlike many other places. And the selection is by far the best anywhere.

What is your experience when returning something at Stormer Hobbies? I have purchased from them but I have never had to return anything. Please post your experience. Thanks!

Bob and his crew are awesome. Every time I've ordered from them it's been a good experience.

Indeed great place to buy stuff, never had any issues good prices too!

However, has anyone performed a return? How did you go about it? I ordered something and it did not fit my application so I need to send it back. Was there a restocking fee and how long do you have to return something?

Wouldn't it be best to just ask Stormer?

From Stormers website:

Returns:
There is a 15% re-stocking fee on all returned merchandise. Due to the high performance nature of the items we sell there are no returns on any opened or electronic merchandise. No returns, without written authorization, or after 30 days. No returns on items we have marked as discontinued, are no longer available on our website or that we are clearancing or closing out.

They are awesome for returns. I sent the item back and they refunded me -15% the day it arrived to them.

To the original question, the shipping is 2-3 days to the east coast when they ship USPS. UPS ground is about 5 business days. They do offer upgraded shipping which I have received next day even though it wasn't supposed to be next day shipping (I got lucky).

Overall, they are a quality online company to use when not using your local hobby shop. But if all possible support your local shops.

Stormer is the always the first place I go when I need stuff. I have found places that are a bit cheaper, but the service more than makes up for it. USPS priority shipping is no more than 2 days to the South Dakota.
Returns are a breeze. Since I started ordering from Bob and his crew, I will not order from Tower, besides, Stormer stocks stuff you can't get from Tower.

Great people, first class always!!

I order regularly from Stormer.
Delivery is always 4-5 days to the other side of the world, New Zealand.

I can't speak highly enough of Stormer. Over all the years I have been dealing with them there has never been a problem.

Using the cheapest method of freight, USPS, five business days to Canada always. The best part is that Bob stocks the stuff I use, not a whole whack of RTR stuff to sift through when I am looking for items. Great place to order from.
