You'd propably just need the shock mounting balls I would think. All their hardware is 3mm so you should be set pretty easilly.

The XRay balls may even be the same diameter...

You can use the 5mm aluminium ball connectors from Tamiya (#53642).

When I mounted them on my FK05 all I had to do was get the Tamiya ball studs for mounting the tops, and then change the shock eyes on the bottom to the ones off the original Xray shocks. The Tamiya ones are too short, it was really pretty easy

I personally use the blue tamiya ball studs of the top, and schumacher ball grippers at the bottom. To get a ride height lower than 6 on the rear and 5 on the front, I stole the associated shock retaining things off my Dad's TC3, but Team tamale make some lowered ones which will do fine.

Also with schumacher ball grippers on the bottom, you don't have that problem of wide foams rubbing the plastic away.

Agreed. What an ass! Not that I think he would have had a good answer to the question anyways... Take a look at his ad in the Classifieds section.

I wouldn't take advice from someone who mounted their front right shock UPSIDEDOWN
