Eddie- Orr is a awsome driver but since it's all about Touring cars when was his last win or A-main??? I don't know if he's got the reputation he once had.

RC is still, "Win on Sunday and sell on Monday"

I give props to X-Ray for picking up two of the best drivers in north america. I can assure that you will hear several wins from these two guys and in turn more sales of X-Ray stuff.

They do in the Mod class but don't seem to have a ton of guys running stock and 19T like many other teams are doing to help boost results in the win column.

Xray is also very good at having their products represented at the club level aswell. In my area (Western Canada) Xray(Canada RC/Korgae) is the only chassis company that has team drivers at the club level. It really helps to promote and support their products locally.

XRAY now my have the most "BIG NAME" on-road racers on thier team in the States. With LOSI a close second and after that everyone else seems to only have 1 maybe 2 guys, and YOKOMO and Hot Bodies really have no "NAME" drivers in the US, but I guess it's OK since they've got the 2 BIGGEST NAME drivers in the world (Masami, and Hara)

what about andy moore, guess he aint a big name is he? isnt chris grainger
also a big name for yokomo?

Your right as I never seen many stock guys from Associated over the many years in touring or offroad. They seem to focus on mod. Wouldn't hurt to maybe open it up a little and get some stock and 19t guys. With so many cars to choose from nowadays it couldn't hurt to open the flood gates a little.

How did he get screwed? Everybody else has to worry about their equipment functioning correctly also. And from my understanding you cannot put a time that was done by hand in front of a computer timed race even if they were within the same 'second'.

And dude, Roly, you can throw down some paint, man, good work on Ralph's stuff.

In the UK xray is very poorly represented, especially so in the mod class. It has only ever come close to a win at one round of the mod national series and that was due to a local driver drving incredible well. Apart from that it's rarely in the mod A main. However it is better represented in the spec 19 class, but a lot of the mirage (distributors for xray, hpi, hot bodies) team drivers have made the switch to hot bodies, mostly down to the incredible results from "moorespeed". Also thanks to chris grainger, the yokomo bd is probably the most popular car in the uk
It's all well and good having these top drivers in faraway lands (well, for some of us ) but I think companies should try a more global effort, as hard as it is.

Rmargiotta,

If the computer misses a lap....it really doesn't matter if you finish the race....if you finish in a 5:08, then the time is a 5:08.

Jon tried everything to get his stuff working correctly. I was standing there when he was told they would count them by hand if they had to.

What makes it even more stupid is, that the time they used that put him in the B was a run where they added the missing lap......thats what made the whole thing stupid.....it was OK for his B main time, but for his A main time, sorry.....can't help you....

Even multiple Xray team members thought it was dumb call....

Ali, I should probably give more of the credit to Korgae Scales/Canada RC for the success of Xray in Canada.
