If Rick had a dollar for every time someone misspells his last name, he could have built a RC arena complex nicer than Hudy's. Haha

Cav is there to defend his title as he should when he's in that position.

I didn't watch the videos yet but I'm curious to see the pass.

Oh my mistake, Rick Hohwart. Does that make the spelling police happy?

After talking to Cav at the race he has been preparing heavily for the world's and this was a nice change up. And you do realize he gets TOLD where to go right?

By pass you mean punt.. I think the only drama it caused was in the AE pits, AE was winning mod either way and doing it pretty convincingly with 4 of the top 4.

Awesomatix was the car to beat in all the spec classes and ultimately prevailed. I remember seeing a few of their cars at the National's at Village a few years ago which was more of a novelty because of the design, but now they're just dominant.

I thought the track was great besides the drama before the event, it's a great facility and perfect size for 1/10 Touring.

Tires were pretty terrible, they've been the spec tire at Valkaria for a long time. Apparently the Powers tires used to have a cream colored wheel and were much better, I guess they changed and the track never figured something else out.

Maybe? After watching the video and how close these guys were running with mod cars I'm not sure that Rick didn't get just a touch off his normal line (not out of shape just a bit off) there and Cav didn't expect that and ran into him. I do understand that it's kind of the followers duty to NOT run into the guy in front but I'm really not sure that was anything more than hard racing that got just a touch wrong. Too bad for Rick either way, that run was clean and he had thing under control up to that point.

Putting mod cars around the track like the top 4-5 cars in A1 is immensely hard and I'm impressed by them all even with little things like this. That video was a good watch for me.

Hey all: When it comes to electric on road in the USA Why isn't there the same amount of love for paved on road as there is for carpet? Thanks

Four entries in WGT.

Refresher- what was the reasoning behind not including F1 or 12th scale instead of WGT???

The classes offered were what the track requested. They would have to answer those questions. But I believe it was based on what they drew the largest crowds of weekly.

F1 had no following in Florida at the time classes had to be picked, 12th scale on that track isn't good due to some rough spots and there were 7 for wgt but 2 dropped to focus on the other classes they were in and 1 guy got sick and had to leave the event
