I'd go with the X-3 it's a great partner for the GFX,It's what I'll be running this season.Nothing but CE baby.

I bought a Pitbull & tried it 1 weekend & falsed peaked my 3800s every time I tried to step charge. Plus the beeps were very anoying. Now I have 2 LRPs. & love them.

Ive been using the pulsar 2 for nearly a year now and ive never had any problems, and if you break it it has a life time cover. I plan on staying with mine for next year as well.

Make sure to set the peak lockout on for all but the last step
I have the X3 and it complements my Turbo35 perfectly.

if you set the charge profiles and set the lock out correctly it works great I dont have any probs with mine charging 3800's!!!
also you can shut the noise(beeps) off.

I have been using a x3 for over a year and I only use my t35bl for powering a lath and breaking in motors now.

both chargers are very good and reliable but where you dont need the extra funtions like motor run in etc the the x3 is the way to go and will save a bit of coin for other things you may want.

for starters it's made by LRP and just like competition electronics thier customer sercvice and product qaulity is excellent to....
all the funtions are easy to navigate and use. like the pit bull x3 it's a great charger you cant go wrong with either charger.

I've had both and much prefer the LRP pulsar or pulsar 2 than the pit bull. But both are good chargers. I think the pulsar is easier to use, and is not as annoying as the pit bull.

the most annoying thing in the pit is to have someone enabled his pitbull alarm tone.
