What tooth 64p spur came in your kit?

For what 17.5 motor?

And for how large a track!

I Received a 96t Spur. If I have to buy pinions I can surely buy different spurs if needed. I will be running a Reedy Sonic 540-M3 Short Stack 1S Spec Brushless Motor (17.5T) #ASC269 and the track is Medium size the current GTR's are running 12.5 to 13.5 Second laps.

With a new Team Scream I run 38/92 (Fenix gear diff). Medium size indoor carpet (90 x 40). Timing at 42.

So, old_dude's gearing would work out to be about a 40.5T pinion with a 96T spur.

I am running 40-42T pinions with a 96T spur for all my carpet racing using a Team Scream The One 17.5. Depending on the pinion used, the rollout is approximately 81-85 with the CRC WGT-R tire (62mm diameter).

Did put a Yeah Racing 30x30mm fan (#YA-0180) on one car with their adjustable Heat Sink Fan Mount (#YA-0328GM). Have it nicely parked above the TS motor in the pod. Really good fit.

Good to know Bill! I ran my WGT-R this weekend and my Motive M2 temps were in the 140 range so I'll be looking into a fan as well. My question is why are the temps so high? Is it due to more rotating mass from the rubber tires compared to the foams? Also, are you guys hardwiring the fan directly to the battery posts?
My car did feel pretty good for it's first outing. I ran 10.9's consistently by the end of the day on an 80 x 40 black carpet track with a subfloor. I believe the real fast guys were in the 10.3 - 10.4 range at the last big race so I'll be making some minor setup changes and playing with different things this summer.

- 10 degree blocks (adjust shims as needed. Start all back, if car diffs out, start putting them forward one at a time until it stops)
- White center spring, stock shock oil
-.45 side springs, just touching, tweak from there
- 7k in the tubes
-very little rear droop. just enough to tell the pod is drooping
-200mm rear track width
-Battery in line to the front
-Speed control mounted behind battery, receiver in front of the battery
-Protoform GT body (when using this body, I use the #1757 carbon bumper as it is a little longer and helps "fill up" the long nose of this body
- I use the GFRP body post set (available through CRC) in the rear with this body. I use it on all four corners with other bodies
- I only glue my front tires half way up. Doing this has no impact on handling but will allow some rubbing of the track barriers.
-7/8 front tire traction (don't be afraid to reduce this if it is too much for you.)

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask

Dumper, what tweak springs and front springs come in kit? I'm trying to figure out how close I am to this setup. Thanks!

Default quick poll...

Most running the short wheelbase? Thoughts or comparisons on either?

All CRC car kits come with .50 front and side springs, as well as a red center.

Old Dude may need to zero out his calipers......

I run the aluminum/composite body posts at all four locations on both of my WGT-R/T cars. And, even though they are a tad heavier, I can still make minimum weight.

I believe that Dumper still only runs two at the rear of his car.
