OK Stan. Time to step up. 2017 IIC will be WGT-R (rubber).

Are you coming to the IIC?

Porsche 911 GT1

FYI, optional bumper #1757 fills out the nose perfectly. Some of the MARCCA guys never get to see the front of the car...

Stan,

Yep. First week of October for on-road followed by a week of off-road the next week. Both on the same carpet...jumps added for off-road.

World GT-R wasn't actually "added" this week. Scotty switched away from WGT (foam) to WGT-R (rubber). Probably due to lack of WGT entries to date.

I would probably not go for WGT again; even through, it was a great class in the past. RIP WGT!

Pretty. I did use that body on one of my cars for last year's IIC. Guest driver did get into the A main using it.

But, of course, it was orange...LOL

iic was a blast last year and thanks to Bill getting me a seat at the CRC table I was able to get my car dialed in, now that they went away from that foam nonsense I might have to reconsider my October plans. Also thinking I might rock a little orange there myself!

which batteries do you guys run? Looking for a battery with low ir's.

Also which hobbywing esc do you recommend/

just picked up a WGTR roller, specifically for the Birds race

SMC 5800s. SMC still sells the best battery for the money. The Hobbywing 1S Pro Spec or the XR10 1S are both very good.
