being cash tight and trying to drift and race off-road, parts and tires get too expensive, so im trying to find ways to recycle old tires and make new ones out of them. has anyone ever tried simply turning old radials inside out and cutting out the sidewalls, then glueing on the old tires upside down? it would make the car sit lower, but the inside of tires is typically extremely slick, so it might work?

hmmm using the underside of a tire. what purpose would you use it for? li just for fun on road gripping? it may work. give it a try. i have a few old ones as well and i might give it a try im guessing you would be using shoe goo to glue them on right?

yes most likely shoe goo or CA glue. and it would be for drifting not grip. with the undersides being so slick, it might work...

being slick wont necessarily mean it will have less grip then the outerside. if anything i would think it would be more grippy cause i think its softer in the inside isnt? ill have to double check though. hmm well this is a project certainly to try

Default Trueno Body

Hi Anthony,

Body is from a JADA toy rc car... with a lot of cutting, sanding, epoxy work to look like an Initial D car... it does not come with the M04 chassis.

Other bodies are bigger, such as ABC and Yokomo... for 1/10 touring.
