try THIS PLACE. register and say hi, it's a pretty cool and active community.

RC Tech is the best if you're racing or even bashing, but it absolutely sucks if you're hardcore into drifting.

nothing special. It is just a sensored 13.5 motor.

I had that same system and it was ok. there are better options for the money though.

It is not a racing system at all. it is not as powerful as the ballistic line of motors, and shouldn't really be used for racing as you will be outperformed by other systems easily.

for racing pick up a hobby wing extreme stock esc and any 13.5 motor you want.

I turn ALL my old Touring cars into Drifters . It really depends weather you want to get a 50/50 car or a counter steer car . Counter steer cars are better after you have drifted for a while

You could get a 4WD used car ( In good condition of course). Like a TC5. put a spool in the rear , a one way in the front soften up the front shocks ,some tires and at least a 13.5 . you will wind up going beyond that anyway . Then just run the car. HPI has their promotional disks and it has a good drift course on it.

( I'm Glad that I found a Drift page among all the Racers pages!)

I've poked around on DriftMission and on CS Junkies

Curious for those folks who alternate between surfaces, how much does your setup change from Carpet to Concrete?

Also, is anyone using the SpeedPassion Reventon R ESC and Drift profile? Curious where people are running their settings? The SP thread has little or nothing for DriftProfile.

I'll try and post some pics soon of my drifter.

I am running SP reventon R on my r31. setup for 10% drag brake and medium throttle profile . mostly everything else is the factory setting as i remember. initial speed is middle range also.

As for changing from carpet to concrete or harder surfaces, a change in tire may not be needed. if your looking to get max speed, go with t-drifts. they should work on both. however depending onthe carpet they may grip too much. try mst brand tires hard and harder for carpet and medium for asphalt, concrete
