Hope your good with styrene, seems to be what most use to mod there bodies. I searched all over a few weeks back about an engine bay and pretty much just found pics but nothing on how to actually do it. I love working with styrene just dont understand how to hook to lexon body. Now in scale trucks you can get hard bodies that it welds to but soft bodies I just dont see how to connect unless it's a shelf queen..

To do list : (Borrowed from Stuffcc hehe)

- Get the body
- Cut the body
- Paint
- Exhaust
- Wheels
- Head lights
- Tail lights
- Opened widnows
- Wippers
- Mirrors
- Led light kit
- License plate
- Stickers

All cut and mounted, waiting for paint.

The Plan

All painted up, tell me what you think

Decided to take the paint off the lights and use lightbuckets instead

There's Still ALOT more to come!

Thanks mate, dont attempt to make a actual bodykit as it will crack the first few crashes or bumps you have. As for your previous question on how to stick the engine and accessories to the body, use drywall tape and re-enforce with shoe goo... making sure the glue use use doesnt eat the paint. wouldnt want a kickass engine bay on a not so kickass shell now would we.

Depending on your shell, as in make and model, URAS make body kits for the 180SX and some others.check them out here :

Pardon the noob questions, but what is the advantage of locking diffs?

Should they be front, back or both?

I'm new to drifting and done of these concepts I'm not aware of their benefits.
