you might want to add the much-more motor master to your list as it is the same unit as the peak/orion one, peak and orion just rebadged it and stole the name!

I think you'll find its 'licenced' from Much More, no stealing about it

You're right though, beneath the skin they're all the same - Peak/Orion/Much More and some other names.

I use the Peak one also, cant fault it so far.

i've got the MM Motor Master. works good BUT I dont like that you have to stick it in the hole. You really need to pay an extra $50 to buy the motor holder aswell....

i seen the APS 3-1 dyno, and it have the rpm sensor external and the motor holder comes standard. Also its a charger aswell....

So you spend 15 seconds holding the motor into a hole to dyno it. It's not a big deal. I use the Much More and it's great. No need for $50 motor holders and such. The dyno function seems consistent at least and that's all you really need when you're tuning your motors. The break in feature is nice and the motor run is great for breaking in new drivetrains.

I think the Integy Dyno can stand only up to 10A (ampdraw). The MMR motor checker can take much higher amps. but you need to have your power supply to support that too.

MuchMore Motor Mate costs $35 not $50.....and you will find this thing is useful to hold the motor and its RMP sensor.

I've been using the Much More versions for over a year now. They work really well, run my lathe and break in my motors, I dont think I have used the RPM sensor once in all of the time I've owned them though.

I have the Much More motor master. It never gets hot and runs great.

I got mine from www.pdubracing.com.

You can get them from:

www.speedtechrc.com
www.nexusracing.net
www.superiorhobbies.com

Most decent hobby shops that do R/C race cars should have them too.

This the info page on it:
