Its more than capable, maybe one of the best cars out there! It placed 6th at the US indoor champs in stock tc, 4th and 5th in pro stock and won open stock at the Stock Wars in December.

Hi everyone just wanted to provide some feedback on the Alu Chassis from Mc Factory since I ran it this weekend in Modified and 17.5..
The two big differences with the stock chassis is that it's much stiffer and a little heavier (by 15g). Both of these characteristics are an advantage on high grip carpet. For the extra weight, I compensated with Aluminum screws on top (all the ones screwing downwards). One of the key things here is that some weight was transferred down under the Center of Gravity of the car giving it different roll characteristics.
The main differences on the track are faster rotation overall and the car enters more agressively into the corners.
This is definitely a great option for Carpet Tracks...
Edit: I think it calls for a slightly softer suspension setup. I'll test more things this weekend.

Yeah the videos really helped understand just how easy the car is to work on and setup. I absolutely LOVE my 4x. Its the best TC I've ever driven and had the pleasure to work on.

My solution was easier, I'm an idiot.
I couldn't figure out why ride height at the front of the car was exactly 1mm off the rear, with all dimensions being the same. I switched heave shocks rear to front and back again...no dice, the front sat 1mm lower than the rear.
Could only be one thing...
In walking around the manual, I made the front horizontal pushrods 15mm rather than the specified 14mm...just missed it - 1mm off.
Perfect! Ride height and tweak are spot on. Geez...
