Damn... it's still not there yet! It took me 5 days to get something I would have normally gotten in 2 so I guess it's just the time of year. Anyhow, it has the trays but they were dremeled and cut so the new cells would fit (was like that when I got it). My main car has the trays and I didn't touch them, I think they're the same trays and I can fit the IBs in em. It's about as tight a fit as can be, but I get em in...

I've noticed a lot of Corally drivers use tape instead of the trays.

I saw this car today at the LHS. Most people around here run Associated or associated like 12th scale; but this thing looks dialed. Ill be getting one soon.

Personally i haven't been a fan of gold rears for some time. Generally i run Silver rears with 19 turn, and either silver or Pink rears with mod.

Ultimately it really depends on the carpet and adative you are using. In the UK (and most of Europe) it's odourless adative, which does seem to make a difference. We used to run gold rears all the time before odourless adative.

Hey Guys,

So, I'm looking at how to place my receiver and ESC into my SP12M. The manual suggests placing the ESC on the left side of the car and the receiver on the right. Since my ESC and wires are heavier than my receiver, it would seem that the car would then be heavier on the left side.

The suggested servo location is also on the left side of the car... which seems to me to further weigh down the left side.

It appears to me that it would be better to put my ESC on the right side of the car to offset the servo being on the left... but that's contrary to what the instructions suggest. Am I missing something? Is there a good reason for their suggestion?

So you got it then, were you suprised?

looking from the rear of the car my recevier is on the right, esc on left. The wires were much tidier that way as the esc is on the same side as the motor endbel. I like tidy wires.

Yep... I got it last night. Merry Christmas to me

Ah... I understand about the ESC wires now. Did you have to add weight to balance the car on the left side?

I hev ESC on the left, reciever on the right. Then servo on the right, and Pt on the left. That should make sense. I also have RX pack split around the centre, can't remember which side has 3 cells and which has 2!!

What do size batts do you use for rx pack? I'm having a problem with my spectrum cutting out due to low voltage.
