USVTA rules will be clarified soon, expect it to be pretty much the same as the "UF1" style rules with ROAR spec 25.5. As it was pointed out the 25.5 thing got big last fall, so nobody knew what would happen going forward. Having been to several races with 25.5, it looks like the right option for good racing at an acceptable speed.

It will be up to Myron what he wants to do
if it U.S.VTA...its what we will do....I am good with your decision

I just hope that the VTA gods leave the motor rule alone. I really don't want to start buying motors to run up front with the big boys.

Can't wait to get back down to Nashville for the race. I've been itching to get back down there since missing last year after breaking my leg. Was a great time 2 years ago. Now time just needs to hurry up.

Just for clarification, ......"with roar SPEC 25.5 motor". This does not mean ROAR approved.
Thanks for the clarification.

Just food for thought.....There is a reason there are only two ROAR legal 25.5 motors right now on those list. Because they are currently the ONLY ones who have passed the new standards. SEVERAL have failed and some several times.

The "can of worms" is exactly why I asked. I have Novak 25.5s and I have a Shuur Speed, but I don't want to get to the track and find that my interpretation of ROAR "spec" versus ROAR "approved" is wrong. I'd like to avoid spending $90 on a new motor if I can avoid it, but want to buy the right one(s) if I can't avoid buying a new one. :-)

I really don't mean to belabor the point, but I only saw the Team Scream and the Motiv on the ROAR list that Myron posted. However, Eric says that there are Novaks (except for the newest one) on the list.
