Default A question about Hara Twister 2.1

There is a diode comes with the ESC, and by mistake i soldered the positive to motor's positive said, but the negative to battery's negative side rather than the motor's. the ESC still works, but could that damage the ESC and the diode?

yes, fix it, its not doing its job right and this could either blow the diode or not protect the ESC liek its suppose to. it should go to the motors positive and negative. once you put it on right if everything still works then your good to go.

just want to confirm from you. if i re-solder all wires, and the ESC still works, the ESC should be alright, isnt it? otherwise i have to order a new ESC.

repost this question in the Ko VFS-1 thread. This ESC is a KO speedo.

KO staff and others will be able to help.

My guess is that the diode is toast. ESC SHould be ok.

a schotty diode is there to protect the ESC from spikes when u brake or something like that......

and no performance gain associated from not using one, therefore just run it even if your internal diode is busted, or just run an external one
