Anyone know where green or purple springs are available? Or if another company makes side springs that are the same softness?

Also, for GT12 what bodies have you had success with?

I had a lot of success getting parts with Amain and Beat1 (Japan).

I race the Schumacher Porsche because I think it looks cool. Sorry, not much help with GT.

Any recommendations on aftermarket spools that have the right spacing like the original diff for the YRX-1219? I have gotten some diff locking rings for the mod chassis, but want to give a straight spool a try as well. Also, I picked up a used chassis for GT12 that had a spool, but the rear track width is around 178mm and that's with a very thin spacer on the diff side of the rear pod.

hey guys,
helping a buddy out going through his car and the ball for the kingpin in the lower arm is extremely tight. This doesn't seem right as it drastically increases the spring rate of the front end. I've tried the pinch method with minimal luck (only a very slight improvement) Are there any other tricks to getting that lower pivot ball freed up? Checked with another guy that was running the car at the track and he has the same issue come to find out.
any help will be much appreciated.
Jason

If you’ve got a ball popper tool (CRC sells them), installing the ball from one side, pushing it thru with the tool, and then doing it again from the other direction…..,that will often free up a too-tight pivot ball.

I think the shaft/threads on the CRC ball popper may be to big. If I remember right the kingpins on the YRX are 2.5 or 2mm so you need the Yokomo R12-36F Pivot Ball Tool if you can find it.

Oops. I forgot that Yokomo cars use smaller kingpins. So a different tool will be needed to remove the pivot ball. But the concept still applies to freeing up the fit in a tight lower arm.

Does anyone know if there are any other companies that sell the rear axel height adjustment inserts? (r12-20H) Looks as they are almost non existent in the US. Trying to get a set before Saturday so I can run the car.
Thanks in advanced,
Jason

Any Associated style height/bearing inserts will work from CRC, Xeon, Speed Merchant and etc.

Some of the Yokomo cars use smaller (Yok specific) ride height inserts.

The 2016 & 2019 YRX12 use the standard Associated style ride height inserts. I have both CRC and Xeon and they both work with no issues.
