I can't remember when it was, but this is my first time driving an F1/pan car, so I was all over the place. I'm glad that I picked up the new, stronger uprights when they came out, so I didn't have much down time.

I know it was allready discussed but couldn‘t find the right posts anymore ...
Which steel pivot balls can be used instead of the plasic ones for the front suspension arms?
I had some at home with a diameter of 5.8 mm but this is too small - the arms will have some slope especially vertically.
So I guess I need some with a diameter of 5.9 mm.
Which ones can I use?
Do the B5 shock pivots work?

Or any other links / part numbers?

Hmmm--I've built two of these cars for friends and I didn't have any slop in these? Have they changed the kits recently? Both cars I built are working very well. Mike Mayberry has one--but we DID experience a weird thing--he stripped TWO spur gears back to back. We could not find any movement in the motor? Has anyone experienced this before?? I ensured the gears were properly set for mesh both times---I've got 3 other F-1's and have not had any problems on any of them???

Stripped spur
I noticed a small play between the pod and the height adjusters - fixed it with aluminum tape.
