As I was doing routine maintenance on my chassis, I noticed that the right suspension arm seems to be angled up more that the left, as you can see in the picture.

Any thoughts/ideas on what could be causing this? I've double-checked the build and everything seems to be exactly as the manual calls for it to be.

It looks like you've bent the standoffs on the right side of the car. Replace them with the HD Associated standoffs or the Avid standoffs.

Thanks. I didn't even notice that.

Glad I already picked those up.

Has anyone had trouble fitting certain shorty packs in the chassis? What batteries are you guys using that fit?

I'm using the Gens Ace 4600 mAh shorty pack and I haven't had any issues with the fit.

Also a question, what's the purpose of front droop screws being washers and plastic head and all that fancy things? anyone else just has 3x8 button head screws on it?

Without longer M4 screws, none. With longer screws, any front wing should fit, aside from special wings like WRC.

My guess would be that the plastic won't mar up the bottom of the upper arm like a steel screw would.

Thanks. also, does anyone tried running the car with a rigid axle by removing the diff balls but no diff pegs either? I have been running without nor Diffballs or pegs, was wondering if there is any performance gain by running those Traxxas pegs. or a better question can be, does anyone makes a rigid axle for the chassis?

Most F1 cars take a shorty "thin" or "low profile" battery to properly fit the cars! Fantom racing has both---their out of stock on the low profile but they have the "thin" version that will work fine.

I'd check the screw holding the aluminum upright. It's probably bent--not the upright. FWIW

Almost all F1 wings will fit on the front. Mon-tech, Tamiya, Xray, Protoform. I can't comment on something like WRC or TRG though. One caveat to all wings aside from the kit wing is that you will need a longer screw. The AE wing has a cutout for the body post mount while all other MFG's do not.
