Now its perfect, its not super tight like before but also not loose where it falls out and no more tight suspension! If you're gonna try it remember to use a (19/64 inch drill bit). That size has worked perfectly for me.
Any pictures? Would help understand what you did.

So basically all i did was drill out the holes on the suspension arms, again i used a 19/64 drill bit.
the red circled areas are where i used the drill bit, hope that this is helpful, thanks.

Or just use B5 chrome shock pivot balls. They do not compress like the Delrin ones. Makes a huge difference. The only one that you can't put the metal ones in are the lower arm king pin ball.

i ordered them, i also ordered ones that are identical to the bottom ones but i wasn't sure of the size so we'll see ...
i noticed a few pages back someone had modded the rear pod to have more side to side roll? Good, bad, is it even necessary?

Unfortunately my summer racing has been cut short. Weather caused Labor Day weekend to be canceled. And family schedule for the majority of group had caused the cancellation of yesterday’s racing. Overall I made big improvement, no broken parts and consistency made big jump. I’m still well off the pace. Hopefully I won’t have a repeat of that winter, going 30+ weeks without running. Here’s video from what has become last race of summer.

After watching the video, I can tell that your car is planted enough for you to push it to the racing edge and get back on pace...You can't be hesitant or worry about crashing too much if you want to go really fast....

While I’d like to think I’m past the “don’t crash” bit. It’s possible it’s still there a little. Brakes have never seemed right since day one. Unfortunately no program box for the Associated esc. And I’m terrible at setting esc without. Plus really didn’t see different brake settings listed.

I understand now..... I had the same brake issue with my 25.5t novak motor: I had no brakes and could not push it at all....I switched to a 25.5t fantom v2(1590 rotor) and recovered all the necessary braking to be able to push it... Esc settings did not seem to do anything for brake strength: only lower fdr(went from 2.8fdr to 3.28fdr) , rotor strength and motor inductance seem to improve braking...

interesting. Never considered motor for braking. I’ll have to consider that over winter. I know that when I finally changed the brake settings on my USGT car. I improved about over a minute alone. Along with a massive jump in consistency. I looked back at last couple races from 2017. Consistency improved in September of 2017 into the 90 percent range, from running high 70’s to mid 80’s. So I stayed level there. Just never really improved this summer. Now it’s been suggested to use drag brake setting by a few. May be time to look into that.

Hopefully i wont have long layoff driving the F1 this winter.
