I heard they dissolved that relationship recently due to the quality of the plastics among other things. if you notice, the tc7/7.1 plastic is high quality.

Do you have any source? They could easily have just changed supplier of the plastic without Thunder Tiger selling their ownership of AE.

Can't wait for it, looks more exciting than the xray '17 (which I own). Always wondered how a forward mounted shorty would perform

AE is still owned by Thunder Tiger who also produces most of its parts. It seems Thunder Power has come a long way in regards to quality.

Interesting to see how this was much less of a pinch point in the 80's

was told that they had been freed up - TT seems to be facing financial troubles, while AE isn't, and they didn't want to drag the brand down. Or so I was told.

Rumors, rumors...

We Gold tub racers in the States complained about it then too. Just no Internet to write our whining down so all can see, lol.

Well, the F6 looks really good - several potentially good new design features that no other F1 has which I wasn't expecting. The centre pivot, the front droop adjustment, the alternate direct servo mounting looks really well done. Bad ass looking wings, the front wing mount. And somehow, it just looks faster than my X1. I went from expecting a mediocre kit to maybe I have to buy one.

Does anyone know of, or have seen, an actual street/release date? Says "Sold Out" on RC10.com, and even TQ has them on their site - but also says "Sold Out".

Did either of those places even have them for sale (in stock) yet?

I'm itch'n. . . .

Sorry for the igor any question, but what body is shown on the prototype car? And I'm looking good to get one of the first runight cars and want to have two bodies. One for scale realism and one in my personal paint scheme. I plan to run on a small carpet indoor track (tq raceway) and cal raceway( the track in the promo video). What would be good bodies to get? I'm eyeballing the the protoform f1-fifteen body for my personal paint body.
