Beside the fact that RC in general is very finicky from class to class. But I do say yes for the fact that this class is pretty realistic, parts support will be decent and at the last worlds IFMAR changed the rules to include F1 as a new class. I think this is one of the reasons that prompted Associated to release this kit and encourage its current on road drivers to race this class.

Interesting stuff about the US flag. I understand this is mostly relevant for uniforms though...

>> Army Regulation 670-1 states, “the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward.”

Obviously the stars go on the left, however I believe the missing point here that is confusing people is that when a flag is moving forward the side away from the pole will trail behind. So when the flag is pictured on a uniform or moving vehicle the stars always face forward duplicating an actual flag in motion. And being 2 sided in reality the right side will appear reversed. Or if it helps clarify you will be looking at the back of the flag.

Ok back to the F6

Despite all the flag talk - I am still stoked (no one says "stoked" anymore) for the AE F1.

Better question how long before the new 12th scale with this new pivot design?

Not bashing, it is what it is - though I personally would love to see Cliff Lett's AE signature read: Owner/CEO and 'Made in USA' on the box.
