Aluminum parts are prone to bending and not springing back like plastic in general. The way my stock 07 runs Im not very inclined to do much in upgrades until I have issues. I just need to get a second one now to run GT and VTA in the same day.

Aluminium bulkheads will come sooner or later as original hop up from Tamiya. I will wait for them.

In the theories of some users here every TRF car has bent aluminium bulkheads in a crash. Can't confirm that nor had ever a problem in my TA05R or TA06R. Both fully equipped.

Aluminium lower decks in the new generation cars are more prone to bend in a heavy crash.

I understand aluminum parts bend but what the heck are you guys hitting?!?

I might consider waiting for the Tamiya versions. No, doubt they’ll be the best

Its not always hitting, sometimes it's hit by. I've had servos ripped out of the chassis by a driver that didn't realize turns require lifting.

I just broke a C hub on my TA07. Can someone please recommend a good aluminum replacement? Thanks.

Kahmed, see the prior comments about aluminum parts. I would recommend sticking with plastic C-hubs. Something has to break eventually a C Hub is an easier cheaper fix than an arm or a suspension mount or chasis.

I run aluminum c-hubs and graphite arms. I don't break squat.

Use the exotek hubs or the yeah racing TA05 hubs

I feel like drivers who cause crashes should be required to pay for broken parts on their victims' cars.

If that we’re the case it would prevent newbies from ever racing.

Broken parts is racing, it’s a fact of life.

Plus it would lead to all kinds of fights. And since nobody would even acknowledge it was their fault any more (you'd no longer even get a "sorry" - yes, I know there's morons out there who don't do that even now - but it's not everyone yet), so next there'd be mandatory surveillance-cameras. You'd probably end up with lawyers going to court on these (at least in the US)...
I don't think anybody would like the results of such a rule.

I always think of the etiquette suggested by the Tamiya RC Guide Book:

It depends on the scenario. Are we talking about a newbie who knows they're unskilled and is trying to learn without causing too many problems, or are we talking about a newbie who thinks they're the new hotness because their car is the shiniest and doesn't have any track damage yet?
