Dang. Nice find. I was all excited till I added it to my cart and checked the shipping. They want 90 dollars for shipping. Must be Hong Kong or something. Thanks anyway. Anyone else know where I can get one for under 50 dollars shipping?

I just posted a 1 month old Corally Truer for sale. Works awesome...I just wanted the smaller Hudy manual unit instead for plane travel.

Roger: Nice avatar

My dad has the older, OFNA lathe and is thinking of getting the 3Racing one to replace it. Yay or Nay?

I have been emailing back and forth with a rep from 3racing and apparently (80% perfect english e-mails) they are updating the 3racing truer with another fan. No cosmetic changes. I assume this is to help keep the motor cool while we waste our tires down from 63 mm to 54.5 mm.
j\k soviet and bob. Heres the link to the dinball e-bay store where these truers are available supposedly (I think this is where the guy above had complaints initially about products being listed that were not ready to ship)

To the those who own or have used one-

Whats your least favorite thing about this truer? What surprised you good or bad when you got it? Is the lathe secure in the box, as in some pics I have seen it looks like it does not have foam surrounding it which might allow it to shift.

I bought this on the ebay for 130$: http://www.rdlogics.com/cgi-bin/cate...000&type=store

I think it is very similar to the 3 racing stuff. I tested with doublepink Jacos. It can cut from 63 to 56.5-57 in one pass.

You can make simple tyre rounder.
Find unused water pipe with reasonable diameter size. Cut it proportionally and glue a paper sander on it. That's all.

Yes it is. I am using the corally 12th scale arbor and fits. If you are going to cut 12th scale tires get yourself the Hudy CUTTING BLADE HOLDER 40-60. It fits anf you can cut the tires down to 40 mm. https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...s&pn=HUD102061

that 3Racing one looks an aweful lot like the Eagle racing one they sold On Integy's site for like a minute.

I have owned the Integy auto truer for about a year now and like it alot. I run oval so our tires are typically softer but I ran Purples and double purples all summer and yeah you had to make a couple passes but it works fine. For softer tires I could take 2.40's down to 2.22 with ease.

I had the older style ofna one and it was junk, everyday something broke on it, finally I got pissed and through it in the dumpster. the motor on it was pretty weak.

For motor strength you cant beat the hudy, well unless you get a manual maxmod which sounds like a jet engine, lol
