For the roof I use water based FASKOLOR white paint with a soft fan shaped brush.
http://www.parmapse.com/fas1.html

For the arches and grill I use Duratrax bottle paint, but use a thicker older bottle so that I don't need to do too many repetitive coats free-handedly.

Then Tamiya Polycarbonate spray paint over it. Make sure to air dry the FASKCOLOR at least 24hrs before you spray over it.

If you're going to race your mini though, definitely mask and use spray for all the colors. Use the thinnest coat possible to minimize weight. GL

Hey no problem and thanks for looking. You have a real Clubman, huh? Very cool.

I bought the Sabre4WD Mini directly from TOP Racing a while back. Check them out here. There is a thread on them too.

Here's the thread..

If you're interested, Tamiya also makes a 4WD belt-driven m-chassis that I run 1/16th (size 2820) Lipo's on. Car funs great too, with some setting up.

Sakadachi i saw on one of your albums you bought the yeah racing alloy ball bearing steering kit and you had to modify it is it worth buying it and doing he modifications compared to spending alot more money buying the tamiya set its only im running on a very low budget and want to make my m05 look nicer also will it make any changes to the steering response or any other improvements
Thanks Jay

No, definitely stay away from the Yeah Racing as it does not come with all the pieces needed. I had to make my own. I suggest you save up some and get the Tamiya one. I run the Tamiya steering link on my V2. It is a perfect fit.

But to answer your question about the steering stability, yes, there is a noticeable difference vs the stock plastic setup. Actually the bell crank snapped on my M05 which forced me to buy the hopup.

I bought just the steering link kit, and it was definitely missing parts.
I saw that if one bought the bigger hopup kit, the parts that were missing in my steering kit (sold separately) were included.

I am very picky about the appearance.. check out my albums page for other pictures. I only run the Tamiya Rover Mini bodies on my m-chassis including m-chassis from other brands.

Go Sak! Nice body! I haven't been touching my RC cars for so long now...
