In the past it has gone like this,
Monday: pit setup and check-in
Tuesday: controlled practice and driver social
Wednesday: controlled practice
Thursday and Friday: qualifying
Saturday: Mains

Things might be a little different this year but nothing is set in stone as of yet other than the dates posted. :)

I was just hoping to get an idea of the schedule. I'm hoping to make this a road trip and was looking at drive time/logistics. :tire:

Add the driver's meeting to Monday's activities.

Understood. I didn't want you to think what was in the past would apply to this years but it would be very close to it.

We are trying to see if we can make that work but it is a work in progress.

They run offroad carpet as well so went with lowes carpet. Still pretty damn sticky for onroad with some SXT and has held up surprisingly well. I think most would be surprised for those that come into Vegas early for some warm up.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Las Vegas that won't break the bank. - Stay at Silver Sevens Casino & Hotel that is near the strip. At $55 per night during that week you can't beat it!

My kid runs 1/12 at 702 Raceway and he has a blast!

For this years race, we have had to make a few adjustments to the schedule. What this means is that the finals will be run on Friday instead of Saturday. So that means we have to shift everything to the left by one day.

Here is how this years schedule will work:
Sunday October 2: Registration and Pit setup Noon-5pm. Drivers meeting Buffett Dinner 6pm
Monday October 3: Practice
Tuesday October 4: Practice
Wednesday October 5: Qualifying
Thursday October 6: Qualifying
Friday October 7: Mains

You can now book your rooms online. In addition, you can choose from more than room style if available. To book your room online copy and paste; https://resweb.passkey.com/go/SIIC6R into your favorite browser or click here.

If you would prefer to call the hotel and talk to someone you can call them at 1-800-635-7711 and the room code is SIIC6R.

I also updated the first post of this thread with this information.

Kraig... Should I read into the hotel's web site showing the event as being two weeks long? Am I prepping my Awesomatix 2wd buggy for the event?

No buggy needed unless you want to race it at 702. :)

The room code is good for that length so you can make use the extra days to visit the sites if you wanted to.

We know how you like to tease Kraig...

bdmpastx 04-19-2016 06:56 PM

Anyone know the entry fees for this race?
