Try this link. Horizon sells these under the Sportwerks name but they are made by Magic:

Can anyone verify that the sportwerks version comes with the plastic boxes?

Thanks,
Jimmy

Default Plastic boxes

I got my F8 back in August and the cardboard boxes are still going. I have the Plastic boxes but they fit VERY TIGHT in the bag.
They had some type of cap on the top edges that make them very hard to slide out even when thier empty.
I have the big plastic box on the bottom, 2 Cardboard on one row and 2 plastic on top and they work fine.
As for airplane travel, i went to the Onroad Nats in Sept with all my stuff in this just this bag(Minus Batteries & Transmitter) and it went through perfectly. 67Lbs fully loaded.
The most important thing i did was tape the edges and seams on the boxes with 2" Black masking tape and they were fine.
The bag is Dialed and well worth it.

This is the right bag.
I got mine right before they sold out.
Worth every penny. I still look at it and say why did I wait so long.

They will probably get more after the new year.

[email protected] here is the e-mail for Nick at TM. He is good about getting back with you. Maybe he can fix you up. I don't know about airplanes but mine goes to the track pretty much twice a week off-road and on-road so it gets a good thrashing. I have the old bag too its over a year old now and all that has gone wrong with it is that I pulled off the handle on one zipper. My fault actually. So I think the bag will hold up to pretty much whatever you put it through. Unlike the many bags residing in the closet that failed

i used to have the polybutler pitbox , then moved over to the TM 1/10th travel bag with hpull out handle, wheels & wot not

after a year & a bit of stiching has come away on the carrying handle, (this will brakaway soon) plastic handle`s on the carboard boxes have all broke bar 1 , little knob thing on end off bag to attach the tranny bag has broken off

most peeps said the cardboard will give up before anything else (they didn`t) plastic handle`s did

Guess what
i`m after the F8 one now , you be suprised how much weight i had in this thing
everything was init except tranny bag & 12volt battery ,rest of me gear was in the bag

i have seen the F8 in the flesh ,really good ,better wheels, better handle

so i`m after one

I have had the F8 now since August. I had the 1/10 team magic bag for at least a year before. I loved the older one but really like the bigger one now even better. I took clear contact paper to my 1/10 boxes before building them to make the boxes somewhat waterproof and to make them tougher all the way around. The F8 boxes come with a coating on the outside of the cardboard boxes that should do the same as I did with the older bag. I love the top tool tray and the fact that its detachable is even better. I got mine at my LHS and would strongly recommend it to anyone even slightly interested in getting an all in one carrier.

Hi Guys,

Wow, didn't know these bags were that popular, we've been getting a lot of calls and email about this bag so it kinda caught us off guard. I will bring more of these bags in, and have them listed as a regular item on our website once they are in. However, due to the weight (about 22 lbs) and the size, they are a bit more expensive to ship. Also, there are two version of the bags out there, one with plastic black drawers and one with gray cardboard ones. We will be stocking the black plastic drawer ones as they seem to be the one most demanded.

I will post once they are in.

Steve -

Can you also carry the black plastic boxes which is a seperate sku? I have the old version with the cardboard boxes and I would love to order a set of the replacement black boxes.

By far is this the best bag I have ever seen/used!

got mine today, still the cardboard box version but couldn't refuse the price a friend sold it to me. I'll still get the plastic boxes when they become readily available.

The new one has the large drawer on top. Which in my opionion is perfect, because before you had to put your power supply and batteries and anything heavy at the bottom because it would flip over in the car if you took a turn too fast.
The new one has a small and then a little bit smaller box on the bottom so that the wheels aren't hitting anything, kind of why the older one has that little notch thingy in the bottom box. I am not 100% about it but I think the new boxes will not nessasarily fit the old style do to the two bottom shelves have center supports and the largest box fills up the entire area on top so it won't fit on the bottom unless you find the ones specificly for the older version.
I would call Racers Edge and see if they can give you the part number for the right boxes. Before you order the boxes of the new one and have bust out the dremel to make it fit right.
Sorry for breaking bad news, its just that I would hate for people to spend the cash and find out they don't fit right.

OK did a quick search and found that even the Racers Edge version that I ordered from Stormer even with the right part number came with the large drawer on top but when I put that part number in at Racers Edge and got the picture of the old one.....

So now I know you should call first if you are only upgrading the boxes.

i do like the team magic F8 but wish they would release their previous 1/10 bag with plastic boxes too (the 1/8 bag is a bit big for 1/10 i think)

for those of you who can't wait for the f8 to hit the shores, i found this http://www.ofna.com/shop-bag.html
