Default BMI TC4 Question

Hello and I just got in the bmi chassis that i ordered, and i was wondering if there is some sort of a brace that goes in the center of the upper deck to the bottom. There is holes in both at about center but nothing came with the kit. Just seems like there should be something there to at least keep it from flexing. Maybe im wrong. Any info anyone?????????
