i think the shaft is beter than the belt just my driving style i can beet most belt cars like the xray u get alittle more tourque wit shaft

i'm not saying the shaft is bad, but it would be great to have the option.

Mark G 12-06-2005 06:17 PM

yea it would be also had for them to come up with one that uses the parts it has and porbly be expinsive

i really dont think the belt is what is making the other cars so much better, i would have to guess its chassis and suspension design,i think AE made a pretty copy of a tc3 with there new car, thats why they are slow.......IMO

you don't think turning the motor 90 deg. will help?

There is always a TC4 in the A main at major races. Just look at Cleveland, might not have won the race but still there, Baker is always one of the top 2 or 3 to beat.

There is nothing wrong with a shaft design. Just look at how well Hara did with the HPI Pro4 before they switched him to the Hotbodies car.

Shaft versus belt is more fashion than science.

I think the belt thing is what everyone wants right now. It is thee rage at this time. Belts or shafts are all fast.

or x-ray

anothing thing with belts is as long as its not a single belt design, you can make combinations of one ways/spools on the belt shafts to fine tune the car.
