I guess toy cars brings the best out in everyone. Last I thought this was about making a TC4 a belt conversion and not about Xrays and onther cars. Oh well its just the way the ball bounces.

Its just the way of the X-ray.....

They spend a ton of dough....

Don`t go a bit faster than they were going with a Tc-3....

So they have to tell everyone its better, justifying their mass spending.....

Someone mentioned lots of adjustability, etc. Doesn't the JRX-S offer a lot of that idea? And also has all the heavy stuff on the center line... Just curious what you guys think about that.

George, george, george....

I can tell you that I am definetly faster with my xray.

Not a knock on the TC3 or a boost for xray. Maybe I would be even FASTER with a corally or dare I say tamiya. Who knows. Just my experience.

Maybe you weren't at FW when Barry Baker at Peter Robinson came around, but I can tell you I wouldn't have even been close with my TC3.

Well...in the end none of it matters. The other car companies have upped the standards for a modern touring car. Belt and shaft debate aside, Associated simply does not match the plastic parts quality of either Corally or XRay.

Even though I love my FT-TC4, I still lust over the fit, finish and durability of the plastic on an XRay or RDX.

As far as belt and shaft...who cares. If the internal reduction is the same there really isn't much difference anyhow.

BTW...if I grow unhappy with my FT-TC4 due to maintenance issues, I'm getting an RDX.

You heard it here first boys and girls....Soviet may actually drive a belt car someday!
