Default Reedy KR motor trouble

Hey i have a reedy KR 11 double motor.

After one race it was sounding nasty. Al;most a grinding sound.

I have checked everything but this sound wont dissappere

i have checked the:
-Bearings (all good)
-Cleaned can and checked for shims on magnets (none)
-Re -oiled bearings.
-Changed brushes
-One magnet was loose but seemed to pop back into place.
-Lathe commutator

And it still sounds like crap any idea's of what it might be or what i could do to fix it

cheers

It's the magnet. They are epoxied into place. If it's loose, it will float around on ya until it is re-affixed to the can.

I had major problems outdoors with my KR. I think that when a small stone or something else gets in them, it gets knocked loose easily. This was years ago when the KR was the nrwest motor from them.

Contact reedy and see if they can help you out.
