Are you talking about the woven carbon graphite plate or carbon tub chassis? It also depends on the surface you drive on.

3racing chassis
that is the 3Racing chasis conversion.my buddy has it,for the short time i tried his car i noticed it.car is more responsive and holds the line better,i could get into the throttle earlier exiting the corners than i could with my tc4(non factory team).i liked it so much i went and bought the factory team tc4 that week, will race it for the first time tis fri.
i recomend it if you dont want to spend the money for the factory team tc4,beware,if you get it from stella models or 3Racing it takes about 3 weeks to arrive.worth the wait though.

OKay so i think i will get it, but is the facory team chassis the same thing, because i will go ahead and get that just to have it in a few days rather than waiting for 3 weeks. Any info would be helpful.
Another thing is will the facory team parts from ass. interchange with the other 3racing chassis, when i break them.

or you could buy the BMI conversion for the tc4

The 3Racing chassis is not the same as the FT chassis (the 3Racing chassis was released first), the parts are not interchangeable.

The 3 Racing Chassis was made before the Factory Team car and everyone I knew who had it said it was junk. I personally don't think you can find a better chassis than the BMI kit. Combine the BMI chassis with the new BMI Motor Mount and you are looking at one truely dialed TC4. I think the kits are in the 130-150 range and the motor mount is 50'ish. BMI kit has batteries moved in and forward as well as servo moved in and forward...motor mount moved forward. All these features allow the BMI kit to go through the turns much quicker than the stock it. If you have any questions, please PM me and I would be happy to help.

Derek - I ordered from Stella models website on Sunday evening and my new kit arrived at my door next thursday! Maybe it was just the post that let you down. If you buy through their actual website you even get an order tracking bit which tells you when the product has been shipped.
As for the chassis, I was never that keen on 3racing parts for performance. They bring out their parts long before other manufacturers, so I'm not convinced they spend long researching and trying ideas. I havent tried the TC4 chassis so I cant really comment on that specifically. I would expect the Associated or BMI carbon fibre chassis' to work better though in an equal comparison.
